PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and reproducibly measure an amount of hydrogen immersed into steel materials forming an automobile body.SOLUTION: When an amount of hydrogen generated accompanied with corrosion of steel materials forming an automobile body and immersed into the steel materials is monitored by an electrochemical hydrogen permeability method using a measurement sensor having a plurality of electrochemical cells including reference cells and steel plates, the installation place of the measurement sensor is set at the under floor part of the automobile, backward by more than 10 cm, and at the side of the rear wheel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
