A three-way catalyst is disclosed. The three-way catalyst includes an extruded zeolite substrate containing silver and a catalyst layer disposed on the extruded zeolite substrate containing silver. The catalyst layer includes a supported platinum group metal catalyst that includes one or more platinum group metals and one or more inorganic oxide carriers. The present invention also includes an exhaust system that includes a three-way catalyst. Three-way catalysts result in improved storage and conversion of hydrocarbons, especially during the cold start period. [Selection figure] None
