PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power system state estimation device which narrows down erroneous information even if redundancy of measuring points is insufficient.SOLUTION: An electric power system state estimation device 10 comprises: a first state estimation unit which estimates a state of a power system on the basis of measured system information indicating a power system state; a first determination unit which determines whether the system information has an error or not on the basis of the estimation result of the first state estimation unit; an error identification unit which performs, when an error is determined, a process of identifying the error on the basis of the estimation resu a second state estimation unit which estimates, when the error is not identified, a voltage phase angle of the power system on the basis of an active power and a voltage phase angle and a voltage swing of the power system on the basis of a reactive power and a voltage swing; and a second determination unit which determines whether the measured voltage phase angle is wrong or not on the basis of the estimated voltage phase angle of the power system, and whether the measured voltage swing is wrong or not on the basis of the estimated voltage swing of the power system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
