PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power system state estimation device which can obtain accurate estimation result of power system in a short time even if erroneous information is included in measured system information.SOLUTION: An electric power system state estimation device comprises: a detector which detects an error-ridden measured value from a plurality of measured values indicating a state of a power system; a determination unit which determines, when the error-ridden measured value is found, whether state estimation of the power system is possible or not on the basis of first data which indicates whether a state estimation processing of a power system defined according to an error detection pattern can be performed or not and the error-ridden measured value; a dividing unit which virtually divides, when the state estimation of the power system is determined not to be capable of being performed, the power system on the basis of second data which indicates a virtual division pattern of the power system defined according to the error detection pattern and the error-ridden measured value; and a state estimation unit which performs a state estimation processing of a measured value in which no error is detected among the plurality of measured values.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
