PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an edema severity measuring instrument capable of easily measuring a severity of edema.;SOLUTION: An edema severity measuring instrument comprises: a measuring air bag 7 that is placed adjacent to a skin surface of a human leg L; and compressed-air supply means that supplies compressed air to the measuring air bag 7 and expands the measuring air bag 7 so as to be pressed against the skin surface. In the instrument, the measuring air bag 7 determines an edema severity on the basis of a change in pressure in the measuring air bag 7 while a shape of the skin surface is changed by the measuring air bag 7 expanded and pressed against the skin surface. The measuring air bag 7 is supported by an inner peripheral surface 6 of a massage tool 2 having an air chamber 5 and therefore, its outward expansion is suppressed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
