PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking lot charging authentication system and a parkin lot charging authentication method, which enable: convenient charging by appropriately selecting an available parking spot equipped with a charging device in a desired place; and imposition of a usage fee by a fee scheme in accordance with a charging electric energy value.SOLUTION: A parking ticket issuance machine 1 issues a parking ticket and a pass-code corresponding to the parking ticket and stores the pass-code in a storage device 3 when a parking lot is started to be used. When a pass-code input by a user into an input device corresponding to a charging device 2 is referred to the parking ticket issuance machine 1, and a matching result indicating a legitimate code is returned, charging from the charging device 2 is enabled. When the charging is completed, the charging device 2 notifies the parking ticket issuance machine 1 of actual charging information in accordance with a charging time in correlation with the input pass-code, so that the parking ticket issuance machine 1 displays a parking fee including a fee calculated on the basis of the actual charging information correlated with the pass-code, checks payment of the parking fee, and open an exit gate.
