PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance gas recovery efficiency or cost efficiency in recovering gas from methane hydrate at a water bottom.;SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a gas recovery device 10 which gasifies and recovers methane hydrate H at a sea bottom 20, the gas recovery device 10 comprising: a first chamber body 12 such that slurry including the methane hydrate H can be put in a chamber; an underwater holding mechanism part 14 which locates the first chamber body 12 in water; a slurry introduction part 38 which sends mixed slurry 36 including the methane hydrate H at the sea bottom 20 and water bottom deposits S into the first chamber body 12; a gas outlet part 26 for gas from in the first chamber body 12; and a slurry guide-out part 42 which sends deposit slurry 40 including mainly the water bottom deposits S to the water bottom 20 from in the first chamber body 12.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
