Infusion system to prevent misdelivery of multiple drugs

Exemplary embodiments provide a multi-drug infusion system (10) for preventing drug misdelivery. The system can include an infusion pump (12), a drug tank (16A, 16B), a multi-channel lumen (18), and an infusion set (20). These drug tanks may be sized and shaped so that the drug tank can only be inserted into the infusion pump in a unique configuration. The multi-channel lumen can include a connector that fits only in a specific configuration with a corresponding connector and infusion set provided on the infusion pump. The various parts of this multi-infusion system can only be connected in a unique configuration so that the expected medication is properly administered and delivered to the correct infusion site.
