PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excrement processing agent for use on a bed, having excellent deodorant effect; and an excrement processing method having excellent deodorant effect with use of the excrement processing agent placed on a bed.SOLUTION: The excrement processing agent in powder form includes an acid solid material, at least one alkaline solid material of sodium bicarbonate and hydrated lime, a carboxyvinyl polymer, a water-absorbing polymer, zeolite, and zinc oxide.
