PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element and a dye-sensitized solar cell which improve sensitivity in a long wavelength region to be excellent in photoelectric conversion efficiency and durability, and a metal complex, a metal complex dye, dye solution, and a dye attraction electrode used for the photoelectric conversion element and the dye-sensitized solar cell, and a manufacturing method of the dye-sensitized solar cell.;SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion element comprises a conductive support body, a photoreceptor layer, a charge transfer body layer, and a counter electrode. The photoreceptor layer of the photoelectric conversion element includes a semiconductor fine particle carrying a metal complex dye represented by the following formula (I): M(LD)(LA)(LX) (Y)n. A metal complex, a metal complex dye, dye solution, a dye attraction electrode, and a dye-sensitized solar cell are used for the photoelectric conversion element, and a manufacturing method thereof is provided. In the formula, M is a metal ion, LD is a bidentate ligand consisting of one anion and one lone electron pair and being oriented toward M, LA is a tridentate ligand including three nitrogen-containing aromatic hetero rings, LX expresses a chlorine atom, a bromine atom, or an iodine atom, Y expresses a counter ion necessary for neutralizing electric charge, n expresses an integer of 0-4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
