PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing blends of syndiotactic 1,2-polybutadiene and rubbery elastomers, in particular, low vinyl polybutadiene, or high cis-1,4-polybutadiene.;SOLUTION: The method includes polymerizing 1,3-BD monomer within a rubber cement of at least one rubbery elastomer by using a catalyst composition that is formed by combining a hydrogen phosphite with a Cr-containing compound and an organomagnesium compound or with a Mo-containing compound and an organoaluminum compound.;SELECTED DRAWING: None;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
