PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of evaluating rockfall risk of a boulder stone on an inclined plane based on vibration measurement by a simple method.;SOLUTION: In a method of evaluating rockfall risk of a boulder stone on an inclined plane based on vibration measurement, characteristic frequency of a boulder stone 2 is identified from vibration measurement of the boulder stone 2 at the excitation time, penetration depth of the boulder stone 2 is estimated, the whole shape of the boulder stone 2 is figured out on the basis of the estimated penetration depth, and rockfall risk of the boulder stone 2 is evaluated on the basis of stability FS of the boulder stone 2 against slide and stability FR of the boulder stone 2 against overturn.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
