PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique based on curtain coating for manufacturing a coated white paperboard with high level of print gloss, which maintains high light scattering property of bulky coating layer with many voids characteristic of curtain coating while having adequate ink set property.;SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing coated white paperboard is capable of efficiently manufacturing a white paperboard with high whiteness degree, low white color unevenness and high level of print gloss by simultaneously coating multiple coating layers with a curtain film and defining coating weights of an overcoat layer, which is the outermost layer formed by the curtain coating, and an undercoat layer within a certain range even if a base paper with a white degree as low as 40 to 70% is used.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
