It aims at providing the new medical use using a pluripotent stem cell (Muse cell). The present invention provides a cell preparation for treating a brain tumor comprising SSEA-3 positive pluripotent stem cells isolated from mesenchymal tissue or cultured mesenchymal cells in a living body. In the cell preparation of the present invention, a Muse cell into which a suicide gene has been introduced is intravenously administered to a brain tumor subject, and further, a prodrug corresponding to the suicide gene is administered to select the Muse cell around the brain tumor. It is based on the mechanism of accumulating and erasing cells that constitute brain tumors or reducing their proliferation by activating prodrugs accompanying the expression of the suicide gene.
