PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress excessive settlement of an abutment by dispersing a vertical load while simplifying the whole structure of a portal rigid-frame bridge 20.;SOLUTION: A portal rigid-frame bridge 20 comprises a left-side abutment 21, a right-side abutment 22 and a main girder 23. The left-side abutment 21, the right-side abutment 22 and the main girder 23 are rigidly connected together. Characteristically, an outside surface 21a of the left-side abutment 21 and an outside surface 22a of the right-side abutment 22 are inclined in the direction of getting farther away from the other abutment upward. Preferably, reinforced embankment 30 is provided adjacently to each of the outside surfaces 21a and 22a. In addition, preferably, each of the outside surfaces 21a and 22a is constituted as a step-like inclined surface, and fitted to a step-like end of the reinforced embankment 30.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
