PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projection system in which adjustment of setting of a posture in an optical axis lateral direction of a projection image can be performed readily, and a time required for installation of an image projection device by an operator can be shortened.;SOLUTION: A projector 100 is provided with projection posture detection means constituted by a six-axis sensor, a terrestrial magnetism sensor, and the like, and optical-axis posture adjustment means. A portable information terminal 301 is provided with remote device posture detection means constituted by a six-axis sensor, a terrestrial magnetism sensor, and the like, a radiation part 330 for radiating a guide image 2, and non-volatile memory 405. Also, by installing a projection device remote software in the portable information terminal 301, remote control of a projector 100 is attained, and radiation layout selection means and projection setting calculation means are attained. Further, the optical-axis posture adjustment means is adjusted on the basis of a posture in the lateral direction taken when a guide image 2 in the portable information terminal 301 is selected and a detection result on the lateral-direction posture of the projector 100.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
