PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fork type parking equipment renewal method by which pallet type parking equipment can be more efficiently renewed into fork type parking equipment, and the fork type parking equipment.;SOLUTION: After a replacement target part of pallet type parking equipment is removed, a guide shelf device 16B for one floor is constituted between an existent transverse beam 1B which has been disposed already for each floor and an existent transverse beam 1A which is disposed in a vertical relation on a floor adjacent to the existent transverse beam 1B. An outer end portion of the guide shelf device 16B positioned closer to each of the existent transverse beams 1A, 1B is shifted more outward than inner ends of the existent transverse beams 1A, 1B and is disposed in a counter part between the existent transverse beams 1A, 1B which are confronted vertically.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
