Parking systems at Earls Court and Olympia now interface with ticket booking systems: Pre-booking is a major event for venue parking

Earls Court & Olympia (ECO) are two of the I country's best known and well established lexhibition and event venues, located on two sites several miles apart in west London. Annual visitor numbers amount to over 2m and the venues are calculated to generate over ￡1.27bn each year and 15,000 jobs. Parking provision on the two sites is accommodated by a number of car parks, five of which were included in a pay-on-foot scheme - four public and one staff car park. Parking activity at each site is centred around two distinct user groups - exhibitors and their contractors. In many respects these are ECO's actual customers. They arrive in advance of the show in a wide variety of vehicles for the exhibition 'build-up' and 'breakdown'. Vehicles can vary from articulated lorries arriving from all over Europe to normal cars containing exhibiting company staff. This parking activity is primarily catered for by surface car parks at both Olympia (The Motorail car park) and at Earls Court (Seagrave Road car park).
