The magnetic and electrical processing of metals and metal alloys, parts and components of compound metal matrix. It is provided a method of processing a metal for improved damping of a piece of metal.The method comprises the insertion of the metal part in the interior of a coil conducting current and close a circuit for the current application coil to coil, thereby producing a magnetic field in the part of metal. After that, the circuit is open for a while, and then, the circuit is closed by the second time to apply a second current to the coil.The circuit is then opened for a second time, and the piece of metal is removed from the coil conducting current.
