abstract patent of invention: "waterproof coating system to reflect solar radiation and water based coating to form a decorative and reflective layer in the coating system". the present invention relates to a waterproof coating system to reflect solar radiation, which optionally comprises a base layer on a substrate and a reinforcement layer on the base layer; a reflective and waterproof layer, in which the decorative and reflective layer comprises colored pigments reflective to the infrared. the water-based coatings for forming a decorative and reflective layer in the coating system comprise acrylic polymers, infrared reflective colored pigments and uv light crosslinking agents. this coating system can reflect solar radiation with high efficiency and effectively prevent water penetration; it has strong wear resistance and good weather resistance, has strong adhesion to various substrates and also offers a diversified choice for colors. such water-based coatings can be applied easily, being friendly to the environment.
