Summary "led drive circuit using return converter to reduce observable optical flicker by reducing ac rectified ripple networks" This application describes a drive circuit for supplying a command current to a led lighting scheme. In particular, the present invention relates to an ac input controller circuit operable in conjunction with a current regulating device utilizing a plurality of zener diodes connected in parallel combinations. The drive circuit comprises a feedback mechanism that can be operated to maintain a constant voltage throughout the current regulator. Embodiments of the present invention seek to resolve led ripple and thus optical flickering from a LED drive connected at its input to an alternating current supply.
