In the present invention, there is disclosed a sublingual pharmaceutical composition intended for the treatment of troubles with insomnia comprising a mixture of at least one pharmaceutically active agent in the form of a microparticles, that is adhered to the surface of carrier particles, which are substantially greater than the particles of the active agent or agents and is soluble in water, and an agent supporting bioadhesion and/or mucoadhesion. The invention also discloses a process for preparing the above-described pharmaceutical composition as well as its use for the treatment of troubles with insomnia.
