The method of adjusting a work station and a yarn cleaner or a yarn quality sensor on a yarn producing textile machine

When applying the method of adjusting the work station and the yarn cleaner or the yarn quality sensor (6) on a yarn producing textile machine, during which a reference value (P.sub.R.n.) of the relevant parameter (P) of the yarn (1) is created by measurement and/or calculation, against which the current value (P.sub.P.n.) of the related parameter (P) measured during the production of the continuous yarn (1) is compared. The work station is deliberately brought into the state of intentionally defective yarn (1) production and, in this state, the reference value (P.sub.fR.n.) of the relevant parameter (P) of the intentionally defective yarn (1) deliberately produced at a particular work station is determined. This reference value (P.sub.fR.n.) of the relevant parameter (P) of the yarn is then compared to the current and/or reference value (P.sub.P, .n.P.sub.0.n., P.sub.PR.n., P.sub.0R.n.) of the relevant parameter (P) of the yarn (1) produced at the work station in the state of the yarn (1) production (1) of the production or higher than the production quality.
