There is described the use of an antidote that specifically binds an epitope contained in the positions 13 to 28 A.beta. of a peptide for the manufacture of a medication for the prevention or treatment of preclinical or clinical Alzheimer's disease. There is also described a pharmaceutical composition suitable for use mentioned.
