The device has a cleaning head (4) i.e. brush body, including a radially adjustable arrangement of brushes. The brushes are engaged with an inner wall of a conveyor pipeline (1), and weight actuatedly adjustable. The brushes are arranged on a radially expandable sleeve (11), which is actuatable by an active process and/or a localization process in a fitting profile. The head includes a cylinder section, which is designed complementary to the sleeve and displaced relative to the sleeve. An outer diameter of the cylinder section corresponds approximately to an inner diameter of the sleeve.
