METHODOLOGY FOR CONVERTING IMAGINARY DRAWING DETAILS INTO PHYSICAL DRAWING DIMENSIONS OF LCA-TEJAS A/C

摘要

Detail part drawings of LCA Aircraft calls few dimensions from Fuselage Reference Line (FRL) or A/C Centre line on the detail part drawings. These dimensions are not able to measure in the detail stage as FRL or A/c C/L is an imaginary dimensions and not available physically to measure it on the part. Fabricated parts are not able to certify to the drawing because of the above reasons. Hence, a Methodology provided for Interchangeability (ICY) dimensions on the detail part drawings within the component from the part edge or tooling holes instead of dimensions called from imaginary reference like Fuselage Reference Line (FRL) or Aircraft Center line {A/C C/L).
