The present investigation of osmotic controlled drug delivery system of clarithromycin by using osmotic agent such sodium chloride, like sulfobutyl ether cyclodextrin (SBE)7mCD or hydroxypropylcyclodextrin (HPCD) along with polymers such as HPMC, Eudragit L, PEG 4000, Ethyl cellulose have achieved the controlled release of drug (98.43%) for the period of 12 hours: The stability studies shown that the formulated tablets were stable.
