A bell boot manufacturing using a new mould, and an improved bell boot thereof, said mould comprising: a mould with a co-axial elongate rod, said mould being characterised with a protruding member which protrudes orthogonally along a locus of points which define the height of said mould, said mould being configured to receive a polymer in order to make a bell boot, said protruding member being configured to ensure that an open loop bell boot is formed, said protruding member defining an area around which ribs are not required.
