ABSTRACT Centrifugal and Electrocentrifugal Spinning Machine for manufacturing Micro Fibers and Nano Fibers from Polymer Melts, Polymer Solutions, Polymer Composites and Polymer Blends & Alloys which comprises of rotating spinneret having inverted saucer shaped discs with micro orifices on the periphery that is mounted on a shaft driven by a universal or induction motor coupled with a gear box and a pulley system; a forward displacing melt plasticizing pump consisting of a screw & barrel that are surrounded with heaters to reduces viscosity of polymer and feed the melt or solution at a variable volumetric flow rate into a cylindrical reservoir with nitrogen purging to finally convey the fluid into the spinneret to form fibers; an infrared non contact heater to heat the spinneret; numerous collector rods fixed on a collector plate with provision to vary distance between the rods and the spinneret; a high voltage power supply to apply high potential difference between collector rod and spinneret; an environmental chamber to ensure that the fluid solidifies into fibers after exuding from the spinneret orifices.
