Design and Fabrication of cauliflower cutting machine

ABSTRACT This machine is compact and can cut one row of cauliflower. It has cutting blades which cut the crop in a rotating type of motion. It runs on engine, this power from engine, is provided through pulley and gear box arrangement to the cutter. A collecting mechanism (conveyor) is provided for the collection of cauliflower to one side after cutting. This mechanism is also powered by pulley arrangement. This machine might be the solution to the problems faced by a small scale farmer regarding cost and labor implementation. This could be an innovative step towards complying the needs of these farmers. India is a growing economy and in this growing nation the requirement of all can only be satisfied with the proper machines made available to the farmers. Innovation and improvisation should be amalgamated to form a greater nation having greater potential. Following invention is described in detail with the help of Figure 1 of sheet 1 showing the various parts of the machine and Figure 2 of sheet 1 showing the model of the proposed machine.
