Abstract A device for converting a reciprocating linear motion into a reciprocating rotational motion The present invention relates to a device (1) for converting a reciprocating linear motion into a reciprocating rotational motion and vice-versa. The device (1) comprises a cage member (2) exhibiting the reciprocating linear motion, the cage member comprising a first end (3) and a second end (4) opposite to the first end (3). An output receiving member (7) mounted on an axis member (A) and placed between the first end (3) and second end (4) of the cage member (2). A pulling mechanism transferring the reciprocating linear motion of the cage member (3) to the output receiving member to cause the output receiving member (7) to exhibit the reciprocating rotational motion.
