An aqueous composition of a diaphragm used for a modified lithium ion battery a modified polyolefin diaphragm used for a lithium ion battery and a lithium ion battery which relate to the technical field of preparation of a lithium ion battery so as to improve the strength of a lithium ion battery cell reduce the thermal expansion of the thickness of the cell and simplify the production process of the battery. The aqueous composition of a diaphragm used for a modified lithium ion battery comprises an aqueous binder (4) for the lithium ion battery and organic nanoparticle filler (5) dispersed in the aqueous binder (4). The organic nanoparticle filler (5) comprises nanoparticles of a polymer (1) or nanoparticles at least coated with the polymer (1) on the surface. The particle size of the organic nanoparticle filler (5) is 50 to 2000 nm. The polymer (1) is selected from at least one of polymethyl methacrylate ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer ethylene acrylic acid copolymer ethylene butyl acrylate copolymer ethylene methyl acrylate copolymer ethylene ethyl acrylate copolymer and polyurethane.
