MONITORING OF EMISSIONS FROM AUTOMOBILES USING ANDROID APPLICATION

摘要

According to the Motor Vehicle Act, 1998, it is mandatory for every vehicle user to carry a Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate. But since these norms are not followed strictly we have designed an android application along with the emission measurement instrument that will measure the emission rate from the vehicle and store the readings in the database. The user can then access these reading using the android application and will present it to respective authority on demand. The android application also provides an advantage since the user is not expected to always carry the PUC certificate along with him/her.
