ABSTRACT An Innovative GSM based wireless poly phase motor starter automation for irrigation system comprises of to Make and Break Starter Contacts with the use of Mechanical Assembly with innovative SEE-SAW MECHANISM to provide Automation for Irrigation System. Normally, farmers suffer from Heavy Rain Fall, Low Rain Fall Natural Calamities, Scarcity of Safety Awareness, Improper Tools Improper Irrigation / Watering System, fluctuations in electricity supply & timing of electricity availability. Also motors once damaged require huge sum of pennies to repair. It requires one operator to turn on and off and needs to be physically present on site. However, using this invention, we provide Mechanical Assembly with innovative SEE-SAW MECHANISM to use with any existing starter .Thus we provide affordable, cost effective, user friendly, and low cost maintenance system. Use of GSM based helps in providing Wireless controlling mechanism makes it usable from long distance. It helps to solve Farmers Safety issue of physical presence at the time of night. It utilizes small and Simple DC motors to control the action. This system work on SEE- SAW mechanism by utilizing simple DC motors which hardly requires a 5Volts DC supply Thus it becomes a user-friendly & maintenance friendly system In addition, guard lines are provided to avoid overshooting of controlling arm. For the safe and better contact at transmission arm we provide V Shape Grooves to hold and connect Transmission arm. In addition to above, the power consumed in complete controlling operation is very less. Hence, An Innovative GSM based wireless poly phase motor starter automation for irrigation system with innovative SEE-SAW mechanism provides additional safety ,cost effective, user friendly, solution to bring a change in farmers life.
