AN INTEGRATED ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR MEASURING AND MONITORING OF ELECTRICAL PARAMETERS IN REAL

Intelligent energy management system is an integrated digital system having N number of IEDs (Intelligent Electronic Device) connected at different voltage level of system. All lEDs are interconnected by means of OFC (Optical Fiber Cable) network and connected to main server. All datas in the I ED are transferred to server on real time basis with small time block. The main objective is by the use of intelligent electronic device (IED) connected to entire power system, retrieve the real time data stored in the IED at same time at one click of ■ computer and is used for calculating available based tariff, scheduling of power transmission between utilities, auxiliary consumption, active power, reactive power, power factor, harmonics, total harmonic distortion etc., in one screen which helps the operating and maintenance engineers for safe and easy operation and also for fault tracing.
