The present disclosure is related to a series of ordered and sequential steps whereby bulk materials such as polymers, biopolymers or other materials in the form of flakes, pellets, granules, posts or other geometric forms of post-consumer and/or post-industrial material, in which polyethylene terephthalate (PET) stands out, and which have already been used as plastic bottles, containers or other articles. The PET is ground into pieces or flakes and subjected to an intense decontamination process until they end up as decontaminated, dried, dehydrated and crystallized flakes. This process includes the incorporation of decontaminating agents, which may be only water or other type of decontaminating agents.
