A vibration isolation module 1 for the isolation of a device in such a way that no vibrations from the outside, is passed down to the device, has a first fastening body 3 for attachment to the fixed world, and a second mounting body 5 for attachment to isolate the device. Between the two mounting bodies, there is a spring 7 and a damper 9. The vibration isolation module 1 further comprises two linear actuators 11 and 13 which work in two mutually perpendicular directions. These actuators each have a stator 15, 17, which is present on the fastening body 3, and a mover 19, 21, which is connected to the other fastening body 5. The movers are only in one direction, displaceable in that the connections between the movers and the mounting body 5 only in one direction, are rigid. The movers 19, 21 are each connected via two parallel leaf springs 29, 31 connected to the first fastening body 3.
