The purpose of the notification is to obtain high purity metallic zinc and brass granules from zinc-manganese, zinc-coal and alkali waste, mechanically separated from the non-ferrous metal fraction a fraction containing iron and a non-metallic fraction (black mass). This is characterised by the separation of the contaminated non-ferrous metal fraction containing zinc and brass on a strip separator (1),collecting pre-cleaned zinc granules and separate brass elements, which are then cleaned in a vibration drum (2,2a) by removing the residues of the black mass and then the purified non-ferrous metal fraction is separated into sieves (4),collecting the zinc-rich fraction and separately the brass-rich fraction, and the remainder remaining in situ (4) shall be returned to the vibrating drum (2, 2a) for further purification.
