The invention relates to a process for preparing an agricultural fertilizer. According to the invention, the process consists in preparing a biodegradable mixture of 50% softwood bark comprising 29% lignine, 30% cellulose, 35% hemicellulose and 5% ash, and, for the remainder, liquid sweet whey, having 7.45% dry substance, 1.22% total proteins, 5.48% lactose and 0.85% mineral salts, afterwards, the mixture, having a 50% humidity, is subjected to the aerobic biodegradation reaction for 8 months, wherefrom there results an organic fertilizer with a C/N ratio of 8.
