According to the invention, the stand consists of an assembly comprising a parallelipipedal explosion chamber (7) with integrally transparent walls, placed in the incident field of light processed by the two mirrors (3 and 5) distorted in the two planes, a horizontal one and a vertical one, assembly inserted between a cylindrical incandescent source (2) with filament of high inertia and a high speed camera (15) coupled to a computer (16), the explosion chamber (7) being equipped with two adjustable electrodes (9), of micro-metrical precision, supplied from a high-voltage source (11) in order to obtain the ignition spark, as well as with two pressure transducers (12) connected to an amplifier (13) and a multi-channel oscilloscope (14) for recording the pressure developed by the explosion of a controlled medium - inflammable air-gas explosive mixture, at various concentrations, and in rest condition or turbulence condition, respectively.
