A device for monitoring the flow efficiency of filters in the application of biofuels simulating operating conditions consists of a low-pressure (A) and a high-pressure (B) circuit, which simulate a diesel fuel assembly, further comprising a measuring circuit (C), a supplementary circuit (D), a drive circuit (E) and evaluation circuit (F). The laboratory equipment allows the flow efficiency of the filters (5), (6) to be measured to simulate filter contamination (6) when using diesel as a reference and biofuels as test samples. It is also possible to measure the flow efficiency of unpolluted filters (5), (6) by simulating the pollution of the test fuels (diesel as reference fuel and biofuels as test samples). Simulation of operating conditions is provided by a high-pressure injection pump (4) with continuously variable fuel delivery, while in-line and rotary pumps can be used in the high-pressure circuit.
