A plant (3) is planted in an individual zone (1) enclosed by a separating element (2) with an edge raised above the soil. The separating element (2) by its side wall staked at least 50 mm into the soil forms the natural boundary between the environment and the individual zone (1). The subsequent irrigation and /or fertilizing heading at the area bounded by the individual zone (1), wherein the water and /or fertilizer maintains between the raised edges of the separating element (2). The separating member (2) may take the form of a single ring of plastic or sheet metal; in the preferred arrangement is it stackable to save space during its storage. Before fitting of the separating element (2) is the soil loosened, preferably it is loosened the soil without inverting and only in the individual zone (1). The substantial advantage of this technical solution is reducing of the water consumption, increasing of the profitability, improving of the moisture and the temperature conditions of the soil and reducing of the energy intensity of cultivation.
