LOCATION BASED AUGMENTED REALITY PROPERTY LISTING METHOD AND SYSTEM

A location based augmented reality property listing method to facilitate the advertising and viewing of properties, either for sale or renting, is provided. The method comprises providing a property database with details of the properties, and photographs and/or videos of a particular property, the photographs/videos having been taken by a 360 degree camera to capture substantially every area in and around the property; allowing a user to provide criteria of properties of interest; and allowing a user to select an augmented reality mode. In the augmented reality mode, the method includes determining the position of the user's mobile device; determining properties that match the user's criteria; and displaying the location of the properties that match the user's criteria. The method allows the user to select a virtual reality mode to enable the user to view and manipulate the photographs/videos of the property in order to emulate a virtual reality experience.
