Filling for the manufacture of a refractory product, comprising the following components: 1.1 at least 50% by mass of a basic alumina-based component in the form of one or more of the following components: melting corundum, sintering corundum and calcined alumina clay; 1.2 at least 0.5% by mass of at least one of the following silicate components: kaolin, metacaolin, refractory clay, pyrophyllite, calcined bauxite, mullite or zirconium; 1.3 a carbon component.
