Mixture for manufacturing an unconformed ceramic refractory product, comprising: 1.1 from 55 to 95% by mass of at least one raw material based on magnesia, 1.2 from 5 to 45% by mass of at least one raw material based on of magnesite in the form of crude magnesite, and 1.3 less than 10% by mass of additional components, in each case, with respect to the total mass of the mixture; in which 1.4 the total calcium carbonate content of magnesite-based raw materials is less than 10% by mass, relative to the total mass of magnesite-based raw materials.
