A jersey comprising: at least one sleeve (100) comprising a shoulder panel having an opposite rear shoulder edge (222) and an opposite front shoulder edge (223); and a sleeve panel (106) having an opposite bicep sleeve edge (218) and a rear sleeve edge (225); wherein the rear sleeve edge (225) is coupled and attached to the rear shoulder edge (222) to form a tricep seam, and wherein the bicep sleeve edge (218) is coupled and attached to a portion the front shoulder edge (223) to form a bicep seam (229); a rear panel (103) having first and second rear panel (257) side edges and a rear panel (258) waist edge, where the rear panel (103) is coupled and attached to the shoulder panel (105) of the at least one sleeve (100) opposite the rear panel waist edge (258); a front panel (102) having: first and second front panel side edges (248), a front panel waist edge (250) and a neck edge (224) opposite to the front panel waist edge (250) , wherein the front panel (102) is coupled and attached to the sleeve panel (106) of the at least one sleeve (100), at least one side panel (104) comprising a waist side panel edge (202) , a shoulder panel edge (236) and front panel (234) and rear panel edges (233), wherein the at least one side panel (104) is coupled and joined between the front panel (102) and the rear panel (103), and wherein the shoulder panel edge (236) is coupled and attached to the shoulder panel (105); and wherein the at least one side panel (104) comprises a trunk element (209) and an arm element (208), the arm element (208) extending from the trunk element (209) opposite the edge of waist side panel (202), the arm element (208) having a substantially triangular shape extending from the trunk element (209) forward around the triceps and armpit area of the jersey to form the at least one sleeve ( 100) in combination with the shoulder panel (105) and the sleeve panel (106) and substantially removing loose tissue around the user's armpit.
