FOAMING AGENT AND METHOD FOR THE FOAMING AND STABILIZING OF A BUILDING MATERIAL SLURRY FOR POROUS LIGHTWEIGHT BUILDING MATERIALS

The foaming agent is used for foaming a buildingmaterial binder paste or a building material slurry forproducing pory lightweight-construction and insulatingmaterials. On curing of the foamed slurry, the foambubbles generate pores in the building material. Inaccordance with the invention, the foam obtained fromthe foaming agent is stabilized using a long-chain ormedium-chain polycarboxylate ether (PCE). The foamingagent consists of a foam-forming ionic surfactantcomponent, at least one fatty alcohol and at least onePCE in an aqueous-organic solvent which is selectedfrom the group of alkyl glycols, alkylene glycols up toC6 alkyl, diglycols and diglycol ethers, and also,optionally, up to a maximum of 20 wt%, based on themixture, of further ingredients. Additionally specifiedare methods for producing a pory lightweight-constructionand insulating material by means of thebinder paste foam or the foamed building materialslurry, and also associated porous lightweightconstruction products.
