A methanol water reforming-based hydrogen production electric generator comprises an electronic control system, a methanol water feed system (4), a hydrogen production system and a power generation system. The electronic control system comprises a control mainboard (1), a power supply apparatus (2) and a power output port (3). The control mainboard (1) is used for controlling running of the methanol water feed system (4), the hydrogen production system, and the power generation system. The power supply apparatus (2) comprises a rechargeable battery (201), and is used for supplying power to the hydrogen production electric generator in a starting process of the hydrogen production electric generator. The methanol water feed system (4) comprises a liquid inlet main pipe (401), a delivery pump (402), a liquid feed starting electromagnetic valve (403), a liquid feed starting branch pipe (404), a hydrogen production liquid feed electromagnetic valve (405), and a hydrogen production liquid inlet branch pipe. In the starting process of the hydrogen production electric generator, the liquid feed starting electromagnetic valve (403) is opened, and the hydrogen production liquid feed electromagnetic valve (405) is closed; and in a hydrogen production process of the hydrogen production electric generator, the hydrogen production liquid feed electromagnetic valve (405) is opened, and the liquid feed starting electromagnetic valve (403) is closed. According to the methanol water reforming-based hydrogen production electric generator, all component systems well cooperate with one another, the electronic control system is stable in control, no external power source is needed for supplying power during starting, and the methanol water feed system (4) is low in costs and good in connectivity.
