A big data application-based network hospital system, comprising a hospital terminal, a doctor terminal and a customer terminal. The hospital terminal is connected to the doctor terminal and the customer terminal. The hospital terminal comprises a central processing unit, configured to extract symptom and sign information corresponding to different diseases from an electronic medical record stored by a database, generate a pre-diagnosis information classification table and transmit same to a data display module of the customer terminal, and the pre-diagnosis information classification table is displayed for user selection. The customer terminal comprises a data transmission module which, serving as a data transmission hub, is connected to the central processing unit and the data display module, and is configured to receive the pre-diagnosis information classification table transmitted by the central processing unit, transmit the pre-diagnosis information classification table to the data display module, also receive pre-diagnosis information selected, according to the pre-diagnosis information classification table, by a user, form personal symptom and sign information about the user, and send the personal symptom and sign information to the doctor terminal. The present invention also relates to a data application method for a database, corresponding to the above system, which is conveniently used by a user.
