The present invention relates to the technical field of optical communications, and disclosed are a data bearing method and apparatus, and a data parsing method and apparatus, which are proposed to resolve the problem of long delay in the prior art. The data bearing method comprises: receiving m Common Public Radio Interface (CPRI) services, m being an integer greater than 1; mapping the received m CPRI services to m optical channel data branch units in a one-to-one manner; and multiplexing the m optical channel data branch units carrying the CPRI services to timeslots of an optical channel payload unit, a rate of the timeslots being equal to a CPRI basic rate. The present invention is applicable to a CPRI service transmission process.
